Mountaineer's Take:
The UltraLite is the standard for sub two-pound backpacking bags. It's warm enough to be used three plus seasons in the northeast, and the full-length zipper makes it more comfortable on a hot night than most ultralight bags, which only have a half-zip. The "efficient" cut means it is a tight fit--if you are a bigger person or prefer a lot of room in your bag you should consider the 30 degree MegaLite.

Western Mountaineering says: If your summer bike tour is going to take you through different climates then the UltraLite is a good choice. With a 59" shoulder girth this efficient bag is good to 20 degrees. The full down collar helps to seal in heat around your neck without adding excess bulk, and 16 oz. of high lofting down pumps !
